Azerbaijan Tourism Board is represented with a national stand at the "OTM Mumbai 2023" travel fair held in Mumbai, India.
At the fair attended by a total of 14 local tourism industry representatives including "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC special interest is observed in our national stand and promoted tourism products.
Within the framework of the fair there were held discussions on future cooperation with partners from India, the meetings with media representatives.
During the event, Bahruz Asgarov, the deputy chief executive director of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, spoke as a speaker in the panel organized on the topic "Difficulties and new opportunities faced by the tourism industry in the post-pandemic period".
More than 25,000 tourism and travel specialists from over 55 countries of the world, as well as about 1,000 representatives of the tourism industry from different cities of India, are participating in the international fair, which will last until February 4.
It should be noted that the number of Indian citizens visiting Azerbaijan in 2022 was 60,731. In that year, India ranked 6th among the countries with the largest number of visitors to Azerbaijan.
